5 months

Wow, Audri has changed so much in just a month.  She has now become a very inquisitive little girl, figuring out her world.  She loves to just sit in her bumbo while Joe and I make dinner and play with any toy (or kitchen utensil) we give her.  She will just stare at it, and turn it over and over, and of course, put it in her mouth, trying to figure out what it is.  She will stay on her tummy more while playing with objects, and will do some army crawling, but most of the time, she will just roll to her back and from side to side.  Her smile is the most special thing about her.  She will look at you, and then give you the biggest, most sincere smile with the all-out dimples- just for you.  It just makes my day every time she smiles at me.

5 month stats:
- 24 inches long
- probably around 12 - 12.5 pounds
- wearing size 2 diapers (we ran out of size 1, so I started on the size 2 stockpile)
- wearing 0-3 month clothes, but starting to outgrow them
- eating 6 times a day.  When she gets a bottle, she can hold it on her own.
- sleeps through the night most of the time (sometimes, she will up in the middle of the night, and Joe will give her the paci, and she is good to go until breakfast).  She goes to sleep around 8-8:30, wakes up at 5-5:30 to eat and then goes back to sleep until daddy gets her up to get ready to go to Sandee's.
- LOVES Sandee's.  The other kids adore her and from what I hear, she interacts with them too.  On Thursdays, she gets to spend time with her Nana and cousin Jason and has a ball with them too.  Jason is such a good big cousin to her, always caring for her.
- definitely recognizes mommy and daddy and others who are around her a lot
- starting to eat different foods and will eat quite a bit in one sitting.  She will also grab the spoon from your hand and try to feed herself. 
- her "talk" has more sounds and syllables now, and she has recently discovered how to roll her tongue (she will be a better spanish speaker than mommy) and vibrate her lips
- rolls from her tummy to her back and from side to side.  She does not really roll from her back to her tummy much
- can sit upright by herself for a very short amount of time, but can sit upright consistently if supported
- bath time is more tolerable for her now.  She is no longer having fits, but prefers to stand during bath time.  I did start to try to sit her down after being cleaned and just enjoy the water, and she didn't mind it.
- drooling a lot, so I think at least one tooth isn't too far away.
